DeLaval activity meter system monitors each cow’s activity and reproductive status. Analysing cow activity identifies the heat rush – and any low activity which may indicate health issues. Early detection allows fast action: to inseminate on time, or to limit a drop in milk production.

The collar mounted activity meter collects and transmits activity data from each cow, every hour, 24 hours a day, via wireless link to the antenna. This transmits the data to the system controller in ALPRO or in DelPro. The herd management software analyses the data to identify cows in heat, enabling you to improve the efficiency of your herd’s reproductive cycle.
